Where the cards work
Where a Blomo card works
A Blomo card is a Visa or a Mastercard, so the list of places that take it is not Blomo's list — it belongs to the network. What Blomo decides is narrower: which of its cards tap in shops, which give out cash, and what each payment costs.

The acceptance list belongs to Visa and Mastercard
A Blomo card carries a Visa or Mastercard number issued under licence by a partner bank, so it is accepted wherever that network is accepted. That is not a Blomo promise about a curated list of shops; it is what the number on the card means.
In practice the range runs from a pack of gum at a till to a seat on a business jet: groceries, taxis, fuel, pharmacies, airlines, hotels, car hire, app stores and every recurring service you already pay for.
What Blomo does decide is narrower and worth reading before you issue a card: which of its 6 products tap in shops, which give out cash, and what each payment costs on top of the amount.
Online, and subscriptions
All 6 Blomo cards work online. A card number, an expiry date and a CVV are all a checkout needs, and they are on screen in the app the moment the card is issued.
Recurring charges behave the same way. Streaming, music, cloud storage, game stores, hosting, domains and AI subscriptions renew on their own once the card is saved, with nothing to re-enter each month. Claude, ChatGPT and the rest bill as ordinary online card payments.
The one thing to watch on a recurring charge is the balance. A subscription that renews against an empty Blomo balance fails the way any card payment fails when the money is not there.
In shops, through Apple Pay and Google Pay
5 of the 6 Blomo cards support wallet payments: Netherlands, Spain, Poland, United Kingdom and Indonesia. The Estonia card does not, and that is deliberate rather than an oversight — it is an online-only product, and the missing features are what buy it the lowest entry threshold in the range.
The card is added to the phone by hand, because the Blomo app has no add-to-Apple-Pay button. You open Apple Wallet on an iPhone or Google Wallet on an Android phone, choose to add a payment card, and type in the number, expiry date and CVV shown in the Blomo app.
After that the card taps like any other. The terminal sees a Visa or a Mastercard, and the amount is debited from the Blomo balance at the rate locked at the moment of the payment.
Cash at an ATM
5 of the 6 cards withdraw cash; the Estonia card has no ATM access at all. The fee is 1% on the Netherlands, Spain and Poland cards and 2% on the United Kingdom and Indonesia cards, and it is published rather than discovered at the machine.
Monthly ceilings are set per card and denominated in USDT: 2,500 USDT on Netherlands and Spain, 1,500 on Poland and the United Kingdom, 1,000 on Indonesia. They are per card, so a second card raises the total.
Currency matters as much as the percentage. Taking out cash in the card's own currency carries the fee and nothing else; taking out anything else adds conversion at the Visa or Mastercard rate of the moment on top, with no Blomo markup on that rate. Withdrawing euros from a euro card and withdrawing the same euros from the Indonesian rupiah card are not the same price.
Where a Blomo card gets declined
Some merchants refuse prepaid and virtual cards as a matter of policy. Hotel deposits and car hire desks are the usual examples, and the refusal comes from the merchant's rules rather than from a Blomo limit — it applies to virtual cards from any issuer.
Some refusals are about the BIN, the first digits of the card number that tell a merchant which bank issued the card and what kind of card it is. The higher a product's entry threshold, the stronger its BIN, and the less often it is refused. If the merchants you use keep declining, the answer is a product with a higher threshold rather than a bigger balance on the same one.
And some places are excluded before a card is issued at all. Blomo does not serve the United States, Russia, Ukraine, North Korea, countries in Africa or sanctioned jurisdictions. Sanctions screening is imposed on every issuer by Visa and Mastercard; the rest comes from the issuing partner choosing its markets.
A plastic card removes the first of these problems and not the others. It is accepted at the desks that refuse virtual cards, and it is the one Blomo product that requires an identity check.

FAQ
Questions people actually ask
Where can a Blomo card be used?
Anywhere Visa or Mastercard is accepted: online checkouts, subscriptions, app stores, travel bookings, physical shops through Apple Pay and Google Pay, and ATMs on 5 of the 6 cards.
Can a Blomo card be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Yes, on 5 of the 6 cards: Netherlands, Spain, Poland, United Kingdom and Indonesia. The card is added by hand in the phone's wallet app, by entering the number, expiry date and CVV that the Blomo app shows. The Estonia card does not support wallet payments.
Which Blomo card is online only?
The Estonia card. It takes online checkouts and subscriptions like the others but has no Apple Pay, no Google Pay and no ATM access, and in exchange it has the lowest entry threshold in the range at 100 USDT.
Can I withdraw cash, and what does it cost?
Yes, on 5 of the 6 cards. The fee is 1% on the Netherlands, Spain and Poland cards and 2% on the United Kingdom and Indonesia cards, plus conversion when the currency differs from the card's own. Monthly ceilings: 2,500 USDT on Netherlands and Spain, 1,500 on Poland and the United Kingdom, 1,000 on Indonesia.
Can I pay for subscriptions like Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. They bill as ordinary online card payments and every Blomo card takes them, including the online-only Estonia card.
When is a payment converted, and at what rate?
A payment in the card's own currency is not converted at all. Anything else is recalculated at the Visa or Mastercard rate for the moment of the transaction. Blomo has no conversion rate of its own and charges no conversion markup.
Why would a merchant decline a Blomo card?
Either because it refuses prepaid and virtual cards as a matter of policy, which hotel deposits and car hire desks often do, or because of the BIN. Products with a higher entry threshold sit on stronger BINs and are refused less often.
